Here you can find the story behind the formation of Realty Quarters.  It is our origin story so to speak. It started out with RI Realtor Rocco Quarttrocchi and RI Realtor Tommy Thomasian and has blossomed into a FIVE STAR Google rated eight Realtor firm. In the same manner we came together to form Realty Quarters, we hope to come together to form your real estate dreams!

A lawyer and a real estate agent walk into a bar…

RI real estate agents Rocco and Tommy have known each other for as long as they can remember. They are both from Rhode Island and their families have always been close. RI real estate agents Rocco and Tommy chose different paths to real estate. Rocco knew almost immediately in college that he wanted to be a real estate agent in Rhode Island while Tommy, although growing up in the RI real estate field, chose law school and a career as an attorney.

Fast forward a couple of decades…at this point in their lives, Rocco is a RI real estate agent and Tommy is an attorney. The two met for dinner in Providence, Rhode Island. Rocco had just come from a RI real estate closing. Rocco was the RI real estate agent for the seller and the buyer had a different RI real estate agent. With RI real estate closings, most of the time, the process goes smoothly without any hiccups. This was not one of those closings. Rocco had caught the RI real estate agent misleading the agent’s client and Rocco called it to the RI real estate agent’s attention. The situation became tenuous but calmed down and the closing was able to conclude. It wasn’t all bad though. If it were not for that RI real estate agent’s behavior, the conversation that inspired Realty Quarters would never have happened.

Tommy asked Rocco, if you owned a RI real estate agency, what would you do differently? The first thing he said was that he would never hire RI real estate agents that behaved the way that RI real estate agent did. His RI real estate agents would be truthful with their clients no matter the cost to the deal. He would want RI real estate agents dedicated to the practice of selling RI real estate while at the same time putting customer satisfaction and service first. After listening, Tommy immediately said that he was interested in starting a RI real estate agency that had only the best RI real estate agents involved.

Opening a real estate agency is nothing new, especially in Rhode Island. Brokerages (sometimes referred to as real estate houses) employ RI Realtors who represent buyers and sellers of real estate. Realty Quarters is a Rhode Island real estate brokerage that strives to set itself apart from the rest.
